How to allow the programs through the windows firewall?

One of the security features that Microsoft provides to keep your information private is the Windows Firewall. To get the most out of the firewall, you need to tell Windows OS to allow certain trusted programs to breakthrough.

1. Open the Control Panel
2. Open System Security
3. Click on Allow a program through Firewall
4. Check the boxes for the programs you want to allow through the firewall.
5. Use the checkboxes to indicate the kind of network that has to be running for the program to get through.
6. Click OK to accept the settings.

If you want to remove a program from the Allowed list in the future, simply return to this dialog box, click the program in the list, and then click Remove.
