How to resolve HP printer 50.4 Fuser error?

Solution one: Reset the printer

Follow these steps to reset the printer.
  1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  3. Wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord.
  4. Press the Power button to turn on the printer. Wait for the product to start.
  5. Try printing again.

Solution two: Reset the printer and then wait 25 minutes

This error might display if the fuser temperature becomes too hot. Follow these steps to turn off the printer and allow the fuser to cool before printing again.
  1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  3. Wait at least 25 minutes, and then reconnect the power cord.
  4. Press the Power button to turn on the printer. Wait for the product to start.
  5. Try printing again.
