How to Fix 0x80245004 Windows Update Error

Error code 0x80245004 is a Windows Update error that typically occurs when there are issues with the Windows Update components or configuration. To fix this error, you can try the following solutions:

1. Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues with Windows Update. Restart your computer and try running Windows Update again.

2. Run Windows Update troubleshooter: Windows provides a built-in troubleshooter that can automatically detect and fix common Windows Update issues. Follow these steps:

a. Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.

b. Click on "Update & Security" and then select "Troubleshoot" from the left menu.

c. Under "Get up and running," click on "Windows Update" and then click on "Run the troubleshooter."

d. Follow the on-screen instructions and let the troubleshooter detect and fix any issues it finds.

3. Reset Windows Update components: If the troubleshooter doesn't resolve the issue, you can try resetting the Windows Update components. To do this, you'll need to run a series of commands in an elevated Command Prompt. Follow these steps:

a. Press the Windows key, type "Command Prompt," right-click on it, and select "Run as administrator."

b. In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each command:
